Huawei Nova 4e Caught on Geekbench With Kirin 710 SoC and 6GB RAM

Huawei will be announcing its mid-range Nova 4e Android smartphone in China on March 14. Ahead of its formal debut next week, the MAR-AL00 variant of the Nova 4e has surfaced online on the Geekbench benchmark database.

HiSlicon’s Kirin 710 SoC Will Power the Upcoming Nova 4e

The Huawei Nova 4e Geekbench listing confirms the smartphone will be running on an octa-core Kirin 710 chipset. Announced in July last year, the 12nm Kirin 710 chipset powers several Huawei smartphones including the Mate 20 Lite, Nova 3i, P Smart (2019), and the recently launched P Smart+ (2019). The Kirin 710 includes four ARM Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and four ARM Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz.

Moving on to the actual benchmark scores, the Huawei Nova 4e MAR-AL00 variant scored 1,513 points in the single-core test and 4,955 points in the multi-core test. Apart from the chipset, the Geekbench listing also confirms the smartphone will be available with up to 6GB of RAM and run on the Android 9.0 Pie operating system out of the box.

Some of the key specifications of the Nova 4e were revealed by the folks over at MySmartPrice earlier this week. According to the leaked spec sheet, Nova 4e will feature a 6.15-inch TFT LCD display with 1080 x 2312 Full HD+ resolution. The smartphone will come in two memory configurations in China: 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. It will be fueled by a 3340mAh capacity battery with fast charging support. The smartphone will be offered in three colors: Magic Night, Bird Blue, and Pearl White.

One of the main highlights of the Nova 4e will be a 32MP selfie camera housed inside the waterdrop notch at the top of the display. At the rear, it will have a triple-camera setup along with a fingerprint sensor. Apart from China, the smartphone is also expected to be launched in Malaysia next week.
