Chinese smartphone maker Huawei is likely to introduce its upcoming flagship Huawei P10 late next month. In fact, the company has a press conference scheduled for February 26th in Barcelona, right ahead of MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2017.
Huawei has also started sending press invites, according to which the company CEO Ren Zhengfei will “share Huawei’s latest innovations and exciting advances.” In addition, there are some reports suggesting that Huawei may also come up with Huawei P10 Plus during the event.
According to recently surfaced leaked renders, Huawei P10 flaunts a sleek, dual edge metal glass design as well as a curved screen display. Similar to last year’s Huawei P9, the upcoming Huawei flagship is said to feature a dual rear camera setup and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
If rumoured specifications are to believe, Huawei P10 comes with a 5.5-inch screen with 2,560 x 1,440 pixels Quad HD resolution. Powering the device is a 2.3GHz HiSilicon Kirin 960 flagship octa-core processor. Inside are 6GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. Rumour has it that there will also be 64GB and 128GB storage variants.
Other reports suggest that Huawei P10 will come with its own AI assistant in addition to Leica dual-lens camera design. While no other concrete information is available at this moment, let’s stay tuned to Huawei’s February 26 press conference.
