Huawei has confirmed the launch of its upcoming P30 and P30 Pro smartphones via a tweet. The tweet reveals that the phones will be launched on March 26th in Paris. The zoomed-in images of the monuments show minute details and the devices are likely to launch with an improvised optical zoom system. The video shows Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower and Notre-Dame de Paris and rumours are rife that Huawei P30 Pro will come with a 10x hybrid zoom. OPPO is likely to launch this concept at MWC 2019 in a prototype.

This doesn’t mean that the phones are a complete mystery. Recent leaks and renders have shown a dewdrop style notch on both the devices. The Huawei P30 has been leaked to show a vertical triple rear camera with an LED Flash and the Huawei P30 Pro has been revealed sport a quad rear camera set up along with an LED Flash. Both the offerings have also been speculated to have an under-display fingerprint sensor while the power and volume buttons could reside on the right side of the frame.
Performance-wise, the devices could be kitted with the Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 980 octa-core processor. The Huawei P30 is likely to sport a 6.1-inch OLED display while the Huawei P30 Pro could have a 6.5-inch OLED panel. The former has also been speculated to have 8GB of RAM and the latter could come with 12GB of RAM. The smaller of the two phones could carry support for 5x lossless zoom which Huawei’s previous offering, the P20 Pro, carried. It could also have a 24MP selfie snapper.
