Huawei P30 Lite with Triple Rear Cameras and Kirin 710 Go Official

The Huawei P30 series includes P30 and P30 Pro flagship phones along with the P30 Lite mid-range smartphone. While the P30 and P30 Pro were announced yesterday through a launch event in Paris, France. The P30 Lite too has gone official in the Philippines as it has been found listed on multiple online retailer sites in the country. It’s the very same smartphone that was unveiled as the Huawei Nova 4e earlier this month. The major highlights of the P30 Lite include a waterdrop-style notch display and triple rear cameras.

Huawei P30 Lite Specifications and Features

The Huawei P30 Lite comes with a polycarbonate body with a glass-like finish. It measures 152.9 x 72.2 x 7.4mm and weighs 159 grams. The handset features a 6.15-inch IPS LCD display that offers 19.5:9 aspect ratio and full HD+ resolution (1,080 x 2,312 pixels). The display is shielded by 2.5D curved glass.

Inside the smartphone ticks the 12nm Kirin 710 chipset clocked at 2.2GHz and featuring ARM Mali-G51 MP4 graphics. The SoC is supported by 6 GB of RAM. The in-built storage capacity of the P30 Lite stands at 128 GB. The hybrid SIM slot on the device can be used to expand the memory by up to 512 GB with the use of a microSD card.

The EMUI 9-based Android 9 Pie OS comes preloaded on the P30 Lite. The triple-camera module placed on the rear of the device has a 24-megapixel main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a secondary 2-megapixel snapper and an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens with 120-degree field of view. For selfies, the smartphone features a 32-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture. A fingerprint scanner is placed on the back of the P30 Lite.

The Huawei P30 Lite receives power from a 3,340mAh battery. It carries support for an 18W rapid charging over USB-C.  When it comes to connectivity, the handset comes with features like dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS and 3.5mm audio socket.

In Philippines, the Huawei P30 Lite comes in three colours such as Midnight Black, Pearl White and Peacock Blue. The smartphone carries a price tag of 16,990 Philippine Riso (~Rs 22,300). Currently, the smartphone is for pre-orders in Philippines and it will be hitting the market in early April. The smartphone is also available for pre-orders in Canada for CA$450 (~Rs. 23,200).

The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro smartphones are expected to debut in India as early as the coming month. These phones will available through Amazon India. There’s no information on whether the company will be bringing the P30 Lite smartphone to India or not, as of yet.
