Huawei P40 Lite E with Kirin 710F and 48MP triple cameras announced

Huawei will be launching the P40 series of flagship phones on March 26th. The lineup also includes some non-flagship models. The Huawei P40 Lite E smartphone is now official in Poland. It is the second phone in the P40 series after the Huawei P40 Lite phone that was unveiled in February. The P40 Lite E is not an entirely new phone, since it has arrived as a rebranded version of the Huawei Y7p that was announced in early last month. Some of the major highlights of the P40 Lite E include a punch-hole screen, triple rear cameras and a large-sized battery.

The Huawei P40 Lite E is a rebranded version of the Huawei Y7p

The Huawei P40 Lite E features a 6.39-inch punch-hole IPS LCD display that produces HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,560 pixels. While the phone has a thick-sized chin, the company claims that it offers a screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent. The P40 Lite E is yet another phone from the company that is driven by the Kirin 710F chipset. The SoC is coupled with 4GB of RAM.

The P40 Lite E has an internal storage of 6GB and there is a hybrid SIM card slot which can be used to expand the storage further. Android 10 customised with EMUI 9.1 runs on the smartphone. Instead of Google Mobile Services, the phone comes with Huawei Mobile Services which features the Huawei AppGallery.

The punch-hole present on the P40 Lite E’s screen is the home for its 8-megapixel selfie snapper. The AI-powered rear triple camera setup is assisted by an LED flash. The rear cameras comprise of an f/1.8 48-megapixel main lens, f/2.4 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and f/2.4 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The Huawei P40 Lite E has a rear-mounted fingerprint reader. The phone supports standard 10W charging for its 4,000mAh battery. The connectivity features that are present on the device are dual SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, microUSB and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Huawei P40 Lite E price and availability

The Huawei P40 Lite E is priced at 699 PLN (~Rs 13,300). It colour editions are Black and Aurora Blue. The handset is now available for pre-orders in Poland. There is no word on whether the Huawei Y7p or P40 Lite E will be sold in India.
