So far, the rumour mill has revealed that the upcoming P series of flagship phones from Huawei will include the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro. According to a reliable tipster Teme, the line-up will also feature a premium version dubbed as Huawei P40 Pro PE. It is being speculated that its actual name could be Huawei P40 Pro PE. Fresh renders of the phone have appeared through which it has been revealed that it will be arriving with a premium chassis and a penta-lens camera setup. Another leak has completely revealed the Huawei P40 Pro in all its glory.
Huawei P40 Pro PE renders
The Huawei P40 Pro PE renders have revealed that it is equipped with an elliptical cutout on the display for the dual front-facing cameras. Like the P40 Pro, its premium edition seems to be fitted with a display that is slightly curved all four sides. However, the curves are not clearly visible in the leaked renders. A fingerprint scanner is embedded under the display of the P40 Pro PE.
According to popular tipster Evan Blass, the Huawei P40 Pro PE could be sporting a ceramic body. The five cameras that are engineered by Leica are housed inside a rectangle-shaped module. The configurations of the penta-lens setup of the smartphone are not known yet. A careful look at the camera setup reveals a square-shaped periscope lens that is likely to bring support for 10x optical zoom.
The renders reveal that the Huawei P40 Pro PE will be coming in Black and White colour editions. The bottom edge of the phone is crowded with a speaker grille, a USB-C port, a microphone and a SIM card tray. The top and left edges of the phone are bare. The right spine of the P40 Pro PE has a volume rocker and a power button. There is no information available on the specifications of the P40 Pro PE. However, it could be coming with specs like a larger screen, Kirin 990 5G chipset, 12GB or higher RAM and 512GB of native storage.
Huawei P40 Pro renders
Yesterday, 91mobiles had shared a leaked poster of the Huawei P40 Pro to reveal its appearance and colour variants. A new poster that gives us a clearer view at the design of the Huawei P40 Pro has been shared by Android Headlines.
The renders of the Huawei P40 Pro show that its design is very similar to the Huawei P40. The P40 has a dual punch-hole flat screen measuring around 6.2-inches and triple cameras on its back, whereas the P40 Pro features dual punch-hole selfie cameras and a four-sided curved screen measuring about 6.7-inches with a quad camera setup on its rear.
The P40 Pro’s camera system may comprise of a 52-megapixel Sony lens, a 40-megapixel cine lens, a periscope zoom sensor and a 3D ToF sensor. On the other hand, the P40’s triple camera setup may feature the same primary shooter and cine lens. It may feature an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom instead of a periscope lens and it is unlikely to feature a 3D ToF sensor. The P40 and P40 Pro are expected to arrive in five colourways namely, Black, Blush Gold, Silver Frost, Deep Sea Blue, and Ice White with a gradient finish.
