Huawei P40 Pro render reveals design and colour variants

Huawei is expected to announce the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro smartphones in March through a launch event in Paris. Yesterday, 91mobiles had shared renders of the black coloured variant of the Huawei P40 smartphone to reveal its front and rear design. Today, the publication shared a new image of the Huawei P40 Pro smartphone. It reveals that the phone will be arriving with a design that is quite similar to the standard P40 handset. The new image also showcases the colour variants of the P40 Pro.

Citing information revealed from an industry source, the publication claims that the Huawei P40 Pro will come in five colours including Black, Blush Gold, Silver Frost, Deep Sea Blue and Ice White with gradient hue. It is said that the Huawei P40 will be also available in these five colour options.

The Huawei P40 Pro renders reveals that it has a quad-curved display and an elliptical punch-hole at its upper-left corner for the dual selfie cameras. The Huawei P40 also features the same dual punch-hole display design, however, it is equipped with a flat screen. Both devices are expected to feature in-display fingerprint scanners.

The Huawei P40 Pro features a rectangular camera setup on its back. It has Leica engineered quad cameras and an LED flash. On the other side, the Huawei P40 has Leica-certified triple cameras and an LED flash its rectangular camera housing.

The Huawei P40 is expected to house a 6.2-inch or 6.3-inch OLED display, whereas the P40 Pro could be equipped with a 6.5-inch or 6.7-inch OLED panel. The Kirin 990 5G chipset will be powering both smartphones. The P40 Pro could be coming with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of built-in storage. The P40 series will be preloaded with EMUI 10 based Android 10, but will not feature support for Google apps and services due to the ongoing Huawei ban in the US.

The P40 Pro’s quad camera setup may include a 52-megapixel primary shooter, a 40-megapixel cine lens, a periscope zoom lens with 10x optical zoom support and a 3D ToF sensor. The triple camera system of the P40 may feature a 52-megapixel main lens, a 40-megapixel cine lens and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
