As per the teaser image posted on Twitter and Weibo, the Huawei P50 Pocket seems to be similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Motorola Razr. It means that the device will feature a vertical folding mechanism. The image also reveals that the upcoming offering could come in two colour options – White and Gold. As the name suggests, the Huawei P50 Pocket could come with a compact form factor.

Past reports about the Huawei Mate V with a Galaxy Z Flip-like clamshell design have been doing the rounds on the web. It’s likely that the same device could be the upcoming P50 Pocket. Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station also shared images of the phone’s cover revealing the back panel. The Huawei P50 Pocket is tipped to feature the same design as the P50 series with two circular camera cutouts on the back.

Internally, the upcoming smartphone could come with flagship specifications including a Snapdragon 888 processor. The Huawei P50 Pocket is expected to run on the company’s HarmonyOS. We will know more details at the launch event next week.
