Huawei has just launched its latest smartwatch called the Huawei Watch GT 2 in the Indian market. The device has arrived as the company’s first product to be powered by its in-house HiSilicon Kirin A1, which is designed exclusively for wearables. The latest Huawei Watch GT 2 smartwatch comes in two size variants – 42mm and 46mm, which both boast Super AMOLED screen panels. The premium-looking smartwatch comes with various fitness-centric features and has as many as 15 sports tracking modes like running, walking, climbing, cycling, hiking trail running, and more. The wearable has eight outdoor sports and seven indoor sports tracking.
Huawei Watch GT 2 specifications and features
The Huawei Watch GT 2’s 42mm size variant has a 1.2-inch display, while the 46mm features a slightly bigger 1.39-inch AMOLED display. The Kirin A1 processor onboard the wearable is paired with 2GB of storage, which is capable of storing as many as 500 songs. The smartwatch as a TruSeen 3.5 sensor for heart rate monitoring. The device is capable of notifying you if your heart rate is above 100bpm or below 50bpm for over 10 mins. There’s also the functionality of sleep monitoring onboard the wearable. The other features include Bluetooth and up to two weeks of battery life with moderate usage.
Huawei Watch GT 2 price in India
The Huawei Watch GT 2’s 46mm variant comes in three models including Black, Leather, and Metal, which are priced at Rs 15,990, Rs 17,990, and Rs 21,990 respectively. The wearable will be available across both online and offline channels from December 19th. During the pre-sale activity between December 12th and December 18th, the brand is offering a free unit of the Huawei Freelance earphones worth Rs 6,999 with the wearable. When the first sale kicks off, you will get a chance to win a Huawei Mini speaker with the smartwatch for free.
The 42mm size variant of the Huawei Watch GT 2 has been priced at Rs 14,999. The company hasn’t yet revealed the availability and offer details of the smartwatch.
