Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro and FreeBuds Pro launched: price, specifications

Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro and FreeBuds Pro are the two new devices that Huawei has announced for global markets. Unveiled at the ongoing Huawei Developer Conference (HDC), the Watch GT 2 Pro promises 14-day battery life. It comes with a premium construction and several strap options. The Watch GT 2 Pro is an enhanced version of the Watch GT 2 that went official in September last year.

The FreeBuds Pro TWS earphones come with support for ANC (Active Noise Cancellation). They come with a unique cubic design that sets it apart from other TWS available in the market.

The Watch GT 2 Pro is equipped with a 1.39-inch S-AMOLED round-shaped display that offers 454 x 454 pixels resolution. The display is shielded by a sapphire glass panel. It has a titanium body and a ceramic rear.

The Watch GT 2 Pro is equipped with various kinds of sensors such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, ambient light sensor, optical heart rate sensor, blood oxygen content tracker, and air pressure sensor. The Watch GT 2 Pro comes loaded with Huawei LiteOS which provides customisable watches and 100+ workout modes.

The Watch GT 2 Pro smartwatch comes with 5ATM water resistance and it is backed by a 455mAh battery that can be charged wirelessly. The Watch GT 2 Pro is powered by Kirin A1 chipset and 32MB of RAM. It offers other features like 4GB of native storage, GPS, Bluetooth 5.1 LE, and a speaker. The smartwatch lacks support for LTE connectivity.

The FreeBuds Pro are equipped with 11mm drivers and 3 microphones. The FreeBuds Pro has a bone sensor and provides different ANC profiles that allow users to adjust noise cancellation depending on the noise of the surroundings. There is a voice enhancement that improves the audio call experience.

Each earbud of the FreeBuds Pro weighs 6.1 grams and is packed with a 55mAh battery. The charging case houses a 580mAh battery supports wireless charging and USB Type-C wired charging. The FreeBuds Pro is driven by the Kirin A1 chipset and comes with support for Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.

The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro comes in two colors such as Night Black and Nebula Gray. It comes in watchband options like Black Fluoroelastomer (Sport) and Gray Brown Leather (Classic). The Watch 2 Pro with Sport and Classic strap are priced at €329 (~Rs 28,700) and €349 (~Rs 30,450), respectively in Europe. It will be available for purchase later this month.

The FreeBuds Pro is priced at €199 (~Rs 17,400) and it will go on sale from next month. It can be bought in colours like Ceramic White, Carbon Black, and Silver Frost. At present, there is no word on when these devices will be made available in Indian markets.
