Huawei Watch GT 3 has been launched in the global markets today. The third-generation smartwatch is the successor to the Watch GT 2 that had debuted way back in 2019. The latest offering comes with significant upgrades over its predecessor.
The Huawei Watch GT 3 is offered in two variants with both packing identical specifications apart from differences in size and display. Read on to know what the smartwatch offers out of the box.
Huawei Watch GT 3 specifications and features
The Huawei Watch GT 3 comes in 42mm and 46mm circular dial sizes with a rotating crown and a physical button. The former features a 1.32-inch display while the latter offers a 1.43-inch screen, both with an AMOLED panel. It is equipped with a 5ATM dust and water-resistant rating.
On the health-tracking front, the Huawei Watch GT 3 is equipped with a heart rate and SpO2 monitor, sleep cycle and stress level tracking, skin temperature detection, and air pressure sensor. It comes with support for 100+ workout modes. The wearable device offers dual-band (L1+L5) in-built GPS for outdoor activities. It also comes with hydration reminders and SOS alerts.
Internally, the Huawei Watch GT 3 is powered by an ARM Cortex-M SoC paired with 32MB RAM and 4GB onboard storage. It also features a built-in microphone for directly making calls from the watch. The wearable device comes with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity options and is compatible with Android 6.0 and iOS 9.0 or later. The Huawei Watch GT 3 42mm variant is claimed to offer 7 days of usage while the 46mm variant is capable of delivering 14 days of battery life on a single charge. The smartwatch supports wireless charging as well as reverse charging via the user’s smartphone.
Huawei Watch GT 3 price and availability
The Huawei Watch GT 3 42mm variant is offered in three colours – Active Black, Classic White, and Elite Light Gold. These are priced at €229 (~Rs 19,930), €249 (~Rs 21,670), and €279 (~Rs 28,810) respectively. On the other hand, the 46mm version is offered in Black, Classic Brown and Elite Titanium colours priced at €249 (Rs 21,670), €269 (~Rs 23,410) and €299 (~Rs 30,880) respectively.
The Huawei Watch 3 GT is available for orders in the UK and Europe with sales commencing from November 11th. There is no word on whether the smartwatch will make its way to India.
