Huawei has launched the 2019 iteration of its budget-friendly smartphone, the Huawei Y6. The offering is equipped with a TÜV Rheinland certified display which keeps the blue light emission in check. The phone has a 3,020mAh battery, single front and rear cameras and runs Android Pie.

The Huawei Y6 (2019) features a 6.09-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1,560 x 720 pixels and 82 percent screen-to-body ratio and a dewdrop style notch. The display is kitted with a special technology to reduce the blue light which causes straining of the eyes. The phone derives its power from the MediaTek Helio A22 processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The latter can be expanded by up to 512GB via a microSD card.
The Huawei Y6 (2019) has a 13MP rear camera setup with an aperture of f/1.8. For selfie enthusiasts, the phone carries an 8MP sensor with Face Unlock. It also has the Huawei SuperSound technology which reportedly produces clearer audio. As far as connectivity goes, the phone has support for BDS, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, GPS, Glonass, micro-USB and Wi-Fi. There is a 3,020mAh battery on the device and it runs Android Pie with EMUI 9.0 on the top. A fingerprint sensor is placed below the vertical camera setup on the back while power and volume buttons sit on the right side of the frame. The device has been launched in Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue and a special Amber Brown variant. The special variant has a faux leather coated rear panel.
