Huawei Y9 2019 With 6.5-inch display and Kirin 710 Launched In India for Rs 15,990

Chinese smartphone maker Huawei launched the Y9 (2019) in India today. The device was scheduled to launch on January 7th, but the launch had been postponed. The Huawei Y9 2019 was made official back in October 2018. Let’s find out what this device has in store for us:

Technical Specifications:

The Huawei Y9 2019 sports a large 6.5-inch display bearing a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. It offers a 19.5:9 aspect ratio screen with a notch on the top. The Y9 features an Eye Comfort Mode for a gentle viewing experience. Design-wise, the device flaunts a 3D arc design on the back with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Y9 2019 is available in three colour options i.e. Midnight Blue, Sapphire Blue, and a gradient Aurora Purple.

In terms of internals, the Y9 2019 is powered by a Kirin 710 chipset. It ships with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The phone features GPU Turbo technology that enhances the gaming performance. A 4,000mAh battery fitted inside keeps the Y9 2019 running. It is capable of lasting up to two days on a full charge. However, the device lacks support for fast charging. The Huawei Y9 2019 runs EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.

On the camera front, the Y9 2019 is equipped with dual rear and front cameras. On the rear side, the module comprises of 13MP+2MP sensors. A 16MP+2MP camera setup is fitted on the front for capturing selfies. Both the cameras offer AI-based features with 500 screen recognition modes.
