Prior to launch, the Huawei Y9 2019 had surfaced on China’s TENAA certification website. Now the Chinese company has officially launched the device. The smartphone packs impressive specifications. Let’s take a look below:
The Huawei Y9 2019 rocks a large 6.5-inch FHD+ display with 2.5D curved glass fitted on the top for enhanced user experience. The display has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio with a 91 percent screen-to-body ratio. The device ships in three color variants i.e. Midnight Black, Blue Swarovski and Aurora Purple.
On the optics front, the Huawei Y9 2019 sports a quad-camera setup. On the rear side, there is a 13+2MP sensor and upfront, there is 16+2MP snapper.
Coming to the hardware, the Y9 2019 is powered by an octa-core Kirin 710 processor. The device will be available in two RAM and memory configurations i.e. 4GB with 64GB, and 6GB with 128GB internal memory. There is a microSD card slot for further storage expansion. The Y9 2019 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo OS with custom EMUI 8.2 layered on the top. The device is backed by a 4,000mAh battery unit. As for connectivity, the phone offers all the basic options like 4G VoLTE, 3G, and 2G along with WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and USB Type-C.
The Huawei Y9 2019 is expected to hit the markets in mid-October. The company hasn’t revealed the pricing of the smartphone yet. In China, the device will launch as Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus.
