In India, the smartphone will be exclusively available through Amazon India. Customers who are interested in purchasing the phone can register for it by hitting the ‘Notify Me’ button on the landing page on the retailer’s site. A chat with Amazon’s customer support team has revealed that its sales will begin before January 10th.

The Huawei Y9 2019’s product page on Amazon India confirms presence of 6.5-inch full HD+ display, a big 4,000mAh battery, support for Histen 5.0 party mode and GPU Turbo technology for accelerated graphics performance.

Since the smartphone has already released in select markets, its specifications are already known. When it was announced internationally last year, Huawei had revealed that the handset would be available in 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage models.

The Huawei Y9 2019 has 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup placed on its rear, and 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual selfie shooter on its front. The battery lacks support for rapid charging. The rear shell of the phone has a fingerprint reader.
