Cricket season has kept the fans engaged throughout, and ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup was also successfully inaugurated recently in Benoni and Potchefstroom. Fans across the world, especially in Cape Town, South Africa, have been excited for the opening game of the  ICC Women’s T20 Women’s Cup. Excitement is in the air and significantly increasing as women cricketers prepare to make a mark in this historic tournament. Team India has been progressing well and is all set to play their semi-final match against Australia. The match will start from 18:30 and will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. 1

ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 – Team List and Format

ICC, on its official website, mentioned that the Women’s T20 World Cup would be taking place in two stages, whereby a total of 10 teams will be divided into five sides, each comprising of two groups. Seven teams have gained automatic qualification along with South Africa, which was qualified on the basis of being hosts.

Besides these teams, Bangladesh and Ireland also made it through the qualifiers. Round-robin contests will be the first round in their respective groups, and two top teams from each group will be progressing further to the knockout stage, which consists of two semi-finals and a finale on February 26.
