Indian mobile network operator Idea Cellular has come up with free 4G data offers for both prepaid and postpaid customers. As part of these offers, prepaid Idea 4G users will be given 1GB free data, unlimited voice calls, and SMS — for Rs 348. The company stated that customers can avail free 4G data worth Rs 9,000 over the period of 12 months. Interestingly, existing Idea subscribers opting for this offer on new 4G devices will be offered extra 3GB data. It must be noted that the additional data comes with the validity of 28 days and the maximum of 13 recharges are allowed.

Idea has also introduced a couple of new unlimited monthly rental plans for its postpaid customers. The Rs 499 plan will offer unlimited local and STD calls in addition to 3GB 4G data. In the event that you are not subscribed to 4G data, you will get 1GB free data with unlimited calling. The Rs 999 plan, on the other side, offers unlimited local and STD calls with 8GB 4G data. If you are not a 4G user, you will instead get 5GB of data. The company is also offering free music and movie plans.
