Just a day after TCL teased a short video on Twitter about the upcoming smartphone Blackberry Mercury, the images of the phone got leaked online. And, also it is said to be called DTEK70 since the company already launched its predecessors DTEK50 and DTEK60 a couple of months ago. The DTEK50 was just a rebranded Alcatel phone whereas the DTEK60 was a rebranded TCL phone. Although from now on TCL will be manufacturing and selling the Blackberry branded phones. So the Blackberry DTEK70 (earlier called as Blackberry Mercury) is indeed made by TCL.
According to the leaked images, the phone features a physical QWERTY keyboard at the front which we already knew, thanks to the short video posted on Twitter. Looking at the back, we can see a big camera sensor located at the top left accompanied with a dual tone LED flash. As always, the Blackberry logo also sits in the middle of the back panel as always.
On the front, the speaker grill rests in the midst of front camera and sensor at the top chin of the phone. Talking about the specs, the device is rumoured to sport a 4.2-inch display and will be powered by Snapdragon 625. It is said to come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone is supposed to packs in a 3,400mAh battery.
According to the earlier report, the phone was expected to launch on 4th January, i.e., today. But there’s no such announcement had been made by the company yet. So, stay tuned to Pricebaba for latest updates about Blackberry DTEK70.
