Is Sony working on a bezel-less Xperia smartphone with a dual-edge curved display? Well, an image recently surfaced online claims this to be true. This image is alleged to be the front panel of Sony Xperia XZ (2017) which is yet to be unveiled.
Though the leaked image is very blurry, but we can say with certainty that the phone features a bezel-less design with barely visible edges. It also gives an idea about the new design philosophy the Japanese company is going to acquire.
Looking at the image, the phone is in the gold colour variant with a Sony branding on top bezel located between front camera and sensors. Although we can’t say for sure, but we’re speculating it to house dual speaker at the bottom edge. Overall, the image gives an idea of the placement of front camera, proximity and ambient sensor and also speakers.
Sadly, there’s no word on the specs, pricing and availability of the device. We’re expecting it to be announced at MWC 2017 which is to held in Barcelona. Earlier, a render of Sony Xperia X successor was leaked online claiming the device to sport a 5-inch Full HD display and also house a USB Type-C port.
Unlike rumoured Xperia XZ, the successor of Xperia X is said to follow the same design philosophy of company with a dedicated shutter button and a round metallic power button.
