If the phone’s display needs replacement, the back plate must be taken off first. The process involves detaching the battery cables, prying off the battery, peeling off the battery adhesive pouch, and disconnecting the screen cable from the main board. The screen can then be pried off, and a new adhesive should be applied before placing the new screen, ensuring that the flex cable is routed through the opening in the mid-frame. Afterwards, the phone can be reassembled. PBKreviews has given the phone a repairability rating of 5.5.
