According to PBKreviews, during the assembly of the phone, the adhesive strip’s protective film was left in place, which could potentially compromise the device’s water resistance. The phone features a plastic back panel and frame, along with 17 Phillips screws internally that need to be removed to access its components. Inside, there are elements like graphite film, thermal paste, and copper tape that aid in heat transfer. Notably, a copper vapour chamber is positioned beneath the battery for heat dissipation.

If the phone’s display needs replacement, the back plate must be taken off first. The process involves detaching the battery cables, prying off the battery, peeling off the battery adhesive pouch, and disconnecting the screen cable from the main board. To replace the screen, the front of the phone needs to be heated to loosen the adhesive underneath. The screen can then be pried off, and a new adhesive should be applied before placing the new screen, ensuring that the flex cable is routed through the opening in the mid-frame. Afterwards, the phone can be reassembled. PBKreviews has given the phone a repairability rating of 5.5.
