Infinix Hot 9 with Helio A25 and 5,000mAh battery launched in Indonesia

Recent reports have revealed that Chinese manufacturer Infinix will be launching the Hot 9 phone in India. The smartphone is expected to go official in India in the coming month. A leaked image of the phone had revealed that it has a circular camera housing. Interestingly, the company has unveiled the Infinix Hot 9 smartphone in Indonesia today. In terms of design, it appears to be a different device than the Hot 9 phone that is expected to arrive in India. The newly unveiled Infinix Hot 9 for Indonesia features a punch-hole display, huge battery and AI powered 16-megapixel triple rear cameras in a rectangular module.

The Infinix Hot 9 is fitted with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a punch-hole positioned at its top-left corner. The device features a polycarbonate rear with a glossy finish, housing a rectangular camera module with LED flash, alongside a fingerprint sensor.

The device is powered by the new Helio A25 chipset, alongside 4GB of RAM. The native storage of the smartphone is of 128GB. It has a dedicated microSD card slot for expanding its storage further. The phone runs Android 10 with XOS 6 on top. It features a massive 5,000mAh battery.

The rear camera setup of the Infinix Hot 9 has an f/1.8 16-megapixel primary shooter, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel low-light camera. The front camera is an 8MP unit. The phone comes with support for DTS audio and face unlock. The connectivity features that are available onboard are dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, microUSB and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Infinix Hot 9 is priced at Rp 1,699,000 (~Rs 7,800) in Indonesia. The phone comes in four colours such as Ocean Wave, Violet, Quetzal Cyan and Midnight Black. There is no word on the other markets that will be receiving the smartphone.
