Infinix Hot 9 leaked image reveals circular quad camera module

In September 2019, Infinix had launched the Hot 8 (review) smartphone in India with a price tag of Rs 6,999. The Infinix Hot series will see a new family member soon, as reports about Infinix Hot 9 have started appearing. The smartphone is rumoured to arrive with a circular camera housing. It is said that the rear camera setup of the Infinix Hot 9 will be equipped with a primary 48-megapixel shooter. The smartphone is expected to break cover early in April.

Here is a leaked shot of the upcoming Infinix Hot 9

The leaked shot of the alleged Infinix Hot 9 shows that it will be sporting a glossy rear panel. The circular camera module on the device has four cameras and a quad LED flash. It is speculated that the camera housing may include a wide-angle sensor, a macro lens and a depth sensor.

The absence of a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel suggests the possibility of a side-mounted scanner. Since it is a budget-friendly device, it is unlikely to feature an AMOLED display or an in-screen fingerprint reader. Nothing else is known on the specifications of the Hot 9.

On Infinix India’s Facebook page, the company shared a teaser image with “Something HOT is coming up” tagline. The poster states that there are 18 days remaining for the launch. The company could be teasing the arrival of the Infinix Hot 9. Hence, it appears that the handset may go official on April 7th.
