Infinix Hot 9 Pro with punch-hole display and Android 10 to launch in India soon

Infinix launched the Hot 9 in Indonesia last month with a punch-hole display, quad cameras, 5,000mAh battery and more. Now, the company has announced that it’s all set to launch a new Hot series smartphone in India called the Hot 9 Pro soon. We can expect the handset to go official in the country soon after the lockdown lifts.

The brand has also shared an image of the upcoming device and it looks a lot like the Hot 9 that was launched in Indonesia earlier. It’s safe to assume that the Hot 9 Pro will be a rebranded Hot 9 for India. Here’s everything we know at this point about the upcoming device.

The Infinix Hot 9 Pro (seen above) looks a lot like the Hot 9 as mentioned before. We can see that the device will feature a punch-hole display and triple-camera module on the back. The image also reveals the colour variants – black, blue, purple and green. The Hot 9 Pro is expected to come with a 6.6-inch display. It will be offered in a single configuration with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.

Infinix has also revealed that the smartphone will boot Android 10 out of the box and might have a fingerprint scanner. However, apart from these, no other details of the Infinix Hot 9 Pro are known at the moment,

To recap, the Infinix Hot 9 comes with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a punch-hole positioned at its top-left corner. Ticking at the core of the handset is the new Helio A25 chipset, alongside 4GB of RAM. However, strangely the Hot 9 comes with double the storage at 128GB with support for microSD card. The phone boots Android 10 with XOS 6 on top and runs on a beefy 5,000mAh battery.

The rear camera setup of the device comprises of 16-megapixel primary shooter, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel low-light camera. The punch-hole cutout houses an 8MP selfie shooter.
