Infinix INBook X1 series has been launched in India marking the brand’s debut in the laptop market. Last month, Infinix revealed that its first laptop for India will come with up to Core i7 CPU variants and it will be available in multiple colours. The landing page of INBook X1 went live on Flipkart in the previous week.

The microsite revealed details such as its design, battery, fast charging capabilities, and connectivity features of the INBook X1. Now, the company has finally launched three new laptops starting at Rs 35,999 in the country. Here is everything that is known about the INBook X1 series.

Infinix launched the INBook X1 series notebooks on December 8th, 2021, in India. For those who are unaware, the company will be also announcing the Infinix Note 11 series of smartphones in the third week of December.

The Infinix INBook X1 series comes in three variants – Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7. These are priced at Rs 35,999, Rs 45,999, and Rs 55,999, respectively. The laptop will come in three colours such as Noble Red, Starfull Grey, and Aurora Green.

To begin with, the Infinix INBook X1 features a 14-inch Full HD+ display that offers 100 percent sRGB colour gamut, 330 nits brightness, and a 180-degree viewing angle. Software-wise, the machine runs on the latest Windows 11 OS. The laptop features a backlit keyboard, which will allow the users to see the keys in the dark.

The INBook X1 comes in three variants. The Core i3 model comes with 8GB of RAM and 256G of storage, the Core i5 variant has 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, and the top-tier Core i7 edition offers 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The first two models have integrated USH graphics, whereas the Core i7 model features Intel Iris Plus graphics. The INBook X1 is equipped with NVMe PCI 3.0 SSD storage, which delivers 5 times faster performance than a regular AHCI SATA SSD drive.

The laptop is backed by a 55Wh battery, and Infinix includes a multi-utility 65W Type-C rapid charger. The fast-charging tech allows the laptop to gain 70 percent battery in around 55 minutes. Once charged completely, it offers 13 hours of video playback time, claims the company. The notebook carries support for DTS audio processing system. Connectivity options on the laptop include WiFi-6, Bluetooth 5.1, two USB-C ports, two USB 3.0 and a USB 2.0 port, HDMI 1.4, 3.5mm jack, and a microSD card slot.

These laptops also feature a physical privacy switch for mic/camera, which is a segment-first hardware-based privacy switch. The notebook offers other features such as a fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6, and Ice Store 1.0 Cooling System. Infinix claims that the INBook X1 is the first notebook in its price segment to feature an aircraft-grade aluminium chassis. The laptop has a slim profile of 16.3mm and it weighs 1.48kg.
