Infinix Note 12 5G launch date has been confirmed. In May, the company had unveiled the Note 12 and Note 12 Turbo smartphones in India. These phones do not support 5G connectivity as they are powered by the Helio G88 and Helio G96 chipsets, respectively. Now, Infinix is gearing up to launch the first 5G-enabled Note 12 series phone.

The Note 12 5G’s landing page is now live on Flipkart. It confirms that the smartphone will be unveiled on July 8th, 2022, in India. The microsite has also revealed the key specifications of Infinix Note 12 5G. It looks like the phone will be put below the Infinix Zero 5G, which is the brand’s only other 5G phone in India.

Infinix Note 12 5G will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display and 108MP triple rear cameras
The Infinix Note 12 5G will be equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a teardrop notch design. The screen will have support for a Full HD+ resolution. However, it is unclear whether it will support a high refresh rate.
The rear panel of Note 12 5G features a glossy camera block at the top, while the rest of the back has a matte finish. Infinix has confirmed that the rear-facing triple camera unit of Note 12 5G features a 108-megapixel main camera.
Unfortunately, there is no information available on the other specifications of the device. Rumours are rife that it will carry support for up to 12 5G bands. The official image of the device reveals that the device is fitted with a volume rocker and a power button on the right edge. The power key seems to be integrated with a fingerprint scanner.
It is speculated that the Note 12 5G will also have a Pro variant. However, at this point in time, it is unclear whether the Pro variant will be also announced on July 8th.
Infinix Note 12 5G price in India
Infinix’s Zero branded phones are usually positioned above its Note lineup. The Zero 5G, which features the Dimensity 900, is priced at Rs 19,990. Hence, it appears that the Note 12 5G may cost around Rs 15,000. The device will be available for purchase through Flipkart in the country.
