Transsion Holdings sub-brand Infinix has launched a new smartphone named Infinix Note 5 with an affordable starting price of Rs. 9,999. The Infinix Note 5 is an Android One smartphone and it has arrived as a successor for the Infinix Note 4 that was unveiled in August 2017. The other attractive features of the smartphone include an 18:9 aspect ratio display and a massive battery.
Infinix Note 5 Specifications and Features
The Infinix Note 5 features a 6-inch IPS LTPS LCD display that produces Full HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The display of the Note 5 offers 500-nits brightness. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P23 smartphone that works at 2.0 GHz. The 32 GB and 64 GB storage editions of the Infinix Note 5 respectively feature 3 GB and 4 GB of RAM. It is equipped with a microSD card slot for additional storage.
The Note 5 is pre-installed with stock version of Android 8.1 Oreo. For photography, the handset is equipped with f/2.0 aperture 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel horizontal dual camera. For shooting selfies, it features 16-megapixel camera with AI capabilities for shooting selfies in low light.
The handset receives power from a 4,500mAh battery that promises standby time of 26 days on 4G and 36 hours of talk time on 3G. The other features of the smartphone include rear-mounted fingerprint reader, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, microUSB and 3.5mm audio jack.
Infinix Note 5 Pricing and Availability
The 32 GB and 64 GB Infinix Note 5 are respectively priced at Rs. 9,999 and Rs. 11,999. The handset will be exclusively available for purchase through Flipkart. The retailer will begin the sales of the smartphone from Aug. 31. Its color variants include Black, Blue and Grey.
