Infinix has announced its new Note 6 smartphone. The device is an affordable offering with features like a mammoth battery capacity, triple cameras and an AMOLED display. The device is a successor to the Android One offering by the company called the Infinix Note 5 Stylus which launched with dual rear cameras and a MediaTek MT6763T processor in 2018.
Infinix Note 6: specifications and features
The Infinix Note 6 is an upgrade over the last year’s Infinix Note 5 Stylus as it sports a 6.01-inch FHD+ Always-On AMOLED display. The Always-On mode displays basic information all day while managing power consumption. The phone hosts visible bezels on the top where a selfie camera is placed. It runs on a MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The latter can be expanded by up to 128GB via a microSD card.
In the camera department, the Infinix Note 6 features a 16MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens and 2MP depth sensor on the back. For selfies and video calling, the phone is laced with a 16MP sensor with 3D Face Beauty and Advanced AI features. It is also kitted with Google Lens functionality and Advanced Portrait feature. The phone runs the Android Pie-based XOS 5.0 and relies on a 4,000mAh battery with XCharge. The stylus X Pen that is included in the package lets a user create notes or sketches. Consumers can also measure real objects with the help of X Pen and a feature called AR Measure.
Infinix Note 6: price and availability
The Infinix Note 6 is already being sold in the African countries for a price of $200 or Rs 14,000 (approx). It has been launched in three shades – Midnight Black, Mocha Brown and Aqua Blue which features a golden coloured power button. There’s no information about its India launch yet but we’ll keep you updated.
