Infinix Note 7 with Helio G70 and 5,000mAh battery launching in India on September 16th

Earlier in April this year, Infinix had launched its Note 7 and Note 7 Lite smartphones. Both devices were listed on the brand’s official website. However, Infinix didn’t reveal the pricing and availability of the smartphones at that time. Recently, there were reports about the Infinix Note 7 launching in September.

Now the brand has announced that it will launch the Infinix Note 7 on September 16th in India. There’s no word if the Lite variant will debut alongside the standard model. We already know the specifications of the upcoming offerings. It will arrive as the successor to the Infinix Note 6. 

Infinix Note 7 and Note 7 Lite specifications and features

Infinix Note 7

The Infinix Note 7 features a circular-shaped camera module.

Both the Infinix Note 7 and Note 7 Lite feature punch-hole displays with HD+ resolution. The former offers a large 6.9-inch screen while the latter comes with a 6.6-inch screen. The two phones are also different in terms of design with the Note 7 featuring a geometric design back panel and a circular camera module. The Note 7 Lite sports a rectangular camera module. Both smartphones feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. 

On the imaging front, the Note 7 and Note 7 Lite’s quad-camera setup consists of 48MP main sensor, 2MP macro lens, 2MP depth unit and a dedicated camera for capturing videos in low-light. Up front, the standard Note 7 features a 16MP selfie snapper while the Lite variant has an 8MP sensor. 

In terms of hardware, the Note 7 is powered by an Helio G70 chipset paired with 6GB RAM. On the other hand, the Note 7 Lite is equipped with an Helio P22 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM. Both smartphones offer 128GB onboard storage. The Infinix Note 7 and Note 7 Lite are backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with the former supporting 18W fast charging and the later maxing out at 10W.
