Infinix Note 7 vs Redmi Note 9 vs Realme Narzo 10: price in India, specifications and features compared

Infinix had announced the Note 7 and Note 7 Lite smartphones earlier this year without revealing the pricing and availability. Now, the brand has launched the standard Infinix Note 7 in India with a punch-hole display, MediaTek Helio G70 SoC and 5,000mAh battery.

The Infinix Note 7 is being offered in a single variant and has been priced at Rs 11,499 in India. At this price point, Realme and Xiaomi already have two solid contenders waiting to take on the new launch. While Realme has the Narzo 10 (review), Xiaomi is banking on the Redmi Note 9. Let’s find out how the Infinix Note 7 holds up against these two.

The Infinix Note 7 is being offered in a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration. The smartphone has been priced at Rs 11,499 and will go on sale on Flipkart from September 22nd at 12pm. The phone is being offered in Forest Green, Aether Black and Bolivia Blue colours.

The Realme Narzo 10 is also being sold in a single configuration with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Narzo 10 is being offered in That Blue, That Green, and That White colours. The smartphone is priced at Rs 11,999 and can be bought from Realme.com, Flipkart and retail stores.

The Redmi Note 9 offers more configurations – 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. These models have been priced at Rs 11,999, Rs 13,499 and Rs 14,999, respectively. Xiaomi is offering the Redmi Note 9 in Pebble Grey, Arctic White, and Aqua Green colours. It can be picked up from Amazon, Mi.com and Mi Home stores.

The Infinix Note 7 offers the largest display of the three. The smartphone is fitted with a 6.9-inch punch-hole screen bearing 1,640 x 720 pixels resolution. There’s no Corning Gorilla Glass protection against accidental scratches however.

The Redmi Note 9 also features a punch-hole display but has a smaller 6.5-inch panel. The Redmi offering has FHD+ resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection working in its favour.

The Realme Narzo 10 is the odd one out here with a waterdrop notch display measuring 6.5-inch. The screen offers HD+ resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

All three smartphones are powered by MediaTek Helio G-series gaming chipsets. Starting with the newest launch, the Infinix Note 7 is equipped with the Helio G70 processor. The Realme Narzo 10 is powered by the more powerful Helio G80 chipset. However, the Redmi Note 9 emerges on top in this round with its Helio G85 SoC.

Moreover, the Redmi Note 9 is being offered in three configurations with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. The Infinix Note 7 and Realme Narzo 10, on the other hand, come in a single configuration only.

In the software department, all three phones boot Android 10 out of the box. However, the Note 7 has XOS 6.0 interface, the Redmi Note 9 has MIUI 11 and the Narzo 10 gets Realme UI, on top.

All three smartphones feature a 48-megapixel quad-camera setup on the rear panel. The Infinix Note 7 has a 2-megapixel macro lens, 2-megapixel depth sensor and a dedicate low-light sensor accompanying the 48-megapixel primary camera. The Redmi Note 9 and Narzo 10 also have a similar setup, but instead of the dedicated low-light sensor, these smartphones offer an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

On the front, both Infinix Note 7 and Realme Narzo 10 have a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The Redmi Note 9 has a lower resolution 13-megapixel selfie shooter.

The Infinix Note 7 and Realme Narzo 10 are both equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging support. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 9 features a slightly bigger 5,020mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging as well as 9W reverse charging.

By decimating the other two in four rounds and losing very narrowly to the Narzo 10 in the camera department, the Redmi Note 9 emerges as an undisputed winner here. You also get more configurations to pick from, in case you are willing to spend a little more. However, if you are looking for a smartphone with a massive display, the Infinix Note 7 is a good option.
