Infinix S5 Lite with punch-hole screen and triple rear cameras launched for Rs 7,999

Infinix Mobility has expanded its range of S series smartphones in India with the launch of the Infinix S5 Lite. The phone has arrived as one of the most affordable handsets in the country with a punch-hole display and a triple primary camera module at the rear. The Infinix S5 Lite will be one of the variants of the Infinix S5, which was launched in India last month with a quad-camera setup at the rear. The Infinix S5 Lite also features a premium-looking appealing design, thanks to a sparkling plastic back panel. The phone will be available in three attractive shades including Midnight Black, Quetzal Cyan, and Violet.

Talking about the specs, the Infinix S5 Lite has a 6.55-inch HD+ Infinity-O LCD IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The phone is powered by an octa-core 2.0GHz MediaTek Helio P22 processor, which is accompanied by 4GB of RAM. The storage capacity onboard is 64GB, which can be further increased up to 256GB by inserting a microSD card. Software-wise, the smartphone boots XOS 5.5, which is based on Android 9 Pie.

In the camera department, the Infinix S5 Lite has a 16MP AI primary camera at the rear. There also are two more lenses on the back including a 2MP depth sensor and a low light lens. For selfies and video calling, the Infinix S5 Lite features a 16MP AI-powered shooter with an aperture of f/2.0 and support for face unlock functionality. The connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB OTG, and A-GPS with GLONASS. The handset also has Dirac surround sound and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. A 4,000mAh battery with up to 19 hours of calling time completes the list of the specs.
