Recently, Infinix announced that it will soon be introducing its latest S series smartphone called the Infinix S5 Pro in India. While the company didn’t provide an exact launch date for the handset at the time, it did reveal that the phone would be released in the third week of February. Now, a report by 91mobiles suggests that the Infinix S5 Pro will be launched in the country on February 18th. In addition, the source suggests that the latest Infinix offering will be fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery, just like its predecessor, the Infinix S5, which was launched in late last year.
Infinix S5 Pro specifications and features
As announced by the brand at the media briefing earlier this month, the Infinix S5 Pro will flaunt a pop-up selfie camera. As seen in the image above, the retracting selfie camera module is placed on the top-right corner. The device will feature narrow bezels on the top and sides and a slim chin. At the rear, the phone will offer a unibody design and a fingerprint sensor.
Talking about the specifications, the Infinix S5 Pro is rumoured to come with AI smart power management. The handset will be powered by an unknown MediaTek processor. The device is expected to offer an LCD display with HD+ resolution. Software-wise, the phone is expected to boot the brand’s custom XOS based on Android 9 Pie out of the box. Unfortunately, no other details about the Infinix S5 Pro are available at the moment.
Infinix S5 Pro price in India
Infinix hasn’t yet announced the pricing and availability details of the S5 Pro at the moment. However, the device is being speculated to be priced under Rs 10,000, which will make it the most affordable smartphone in the country with a pop-up selfie camera.
