Infinix S5 Pro launching in India on March 6th

Past reports have claimed that Infinix is working on the S5 Pro smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera. The handset will be joining other S5 series phones from the company such as Infinix S5 and Infinix S5 Lite that were made official last year. The Infinix S5 Pro was previously speculated to go official later this month.. Now, Infinix India has confirmed that it will be launching the S5 Pro smartphone on March 6th.

The company’s tweet says that the Infinix S5 Pro will be arriving with a “killer price”. The clip that can be seen in the video teases the pop-up camera of the phone. The handset can be seen in a green colour. The rear shell of the phone seems to be made out of a glossy polycarbonate material. A fingerprint scanner is placed on the rear of the device. It appears that the smartphone will be exclusively available for purchase through Flipkart.

Past reports have revealed that the smartphone may carry a price tag of around Rs. 10,000. The other S5 series phones from Infinix such as Infinix S5 and S5 Lite are currently selling for Rs. 7,999 and Rs. 8,999, respectively. At present, only a ew details on the specs of the smartphone are available.

Being a budget device, the Infinix S5 Pro could feature an HD+ resolution display. It is rumored to be equipped with a MediaTek chipset and it could be coming with a 4,000mAh battery. The Infinix S5 has a triple camera setup on its rear. Hence, there is a possibility that the Pro model could be also coming with three rear cameras.

Images of the phone have revealed that it will come in green and violet colour options. The volume rocker and power button are found on the right edge. The bottom edge of the device has a micro-USB port, a loudspeaker grill and a 3.5mm audio jack.
