Back in October last year, Infinix had launched the cheapest smartphone with a punch-hole display and quad rear cameras. Now the brand has added a new device to the S5 lineup dubbed as Infinix S5 Pro. It is an upgraded variant of the standard Infinix S5. Prior to launch, Infinix had already teased a few features of its latest device. Let’s find out what the smartphone has in store for us:
Infinix S5 Pro specifications and features
The Infinix S5 Pro features a 6.53-inch Full View display bearing FHD+ resolution. It offers a 91 percent screen-to-body ratio with 480 nits of brightness and 403 PPI density. Design-wise, the S5 Pro flaunts a 3D glass finish back panel and a 2.5D glass on the front. The back panel also houses a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a vertically stacked triple camera setup at the top left corner. The smartphone features a pop-up camera module that automatically retracts when the phone is being dropped. The Infinix S5 Pro can be availed in Forest Green and Violet colour options.
The triple camera setup comprises of a 48MP main sensor, 2MP depth shooter and a dedicated low-light lens with dual-LED flash. The elevating camera module houses a 16MP sensor for selfies. The smartphone packs AI features and modes for enhancing the pictures.
The Infinix S5 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset clocked at 2.34GHz. The device packs 4GB DDR4 RAM and offers 64GB onboard storage. There is a dedicated microSD card slot additional storage expansion up to 256GB. The smartphone is backed by a 4,000mAh battery unit. It runs on the latest Android 10 OS with custom XOS 6.0 layered on the top.
Infinix S5 Pro price in India
The Infinix S5 Pro is priced at Rs 9,999. The first sale will take place on March 13th at 12pm via Flipkart. At this price tag, it is the cheapest smartphone in the market to feature a pop-up camera module.
