Infinix has officially announced the Infinix Smart 4 Plus smartphone in India. The handset has arrived as the successor to the Infinix Smart 3 Plus that debuted last year. The company claims that the Smart 4 Plus offers the biggest display and largest battery in its price segment.
Some of the other highlights of the Infinix Smart 4+ include a high screen-to-body ratio, LED flash for the selfie camera, dual rear cameras and the latest version of Android. The handset will go up against the likes of Realme C11 and Xiaomi Redmi 8 Dual in the country.
Infinix Smart 4 Plus specifications and features
The Infinix Smart 4 Plus features a waterdrop notch display that measures 6.82 inches. The display offers HD+ resolution and 480nits of brightness. According to Infinix, the phone delivers a screen to body ratio of 90.5 percent. As per Infinix, the back panel is made of 2.5D curved glass.
The rear panel features a rectangular camera module. It includes a 13-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, a depth sensor and a triple LED flash unit. The selfie camera is an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture, a wide selfie mode and a dedicated LED flash.
The Smart 4+ is one of the first phones to come with MediaTek’s octa-core Helio A25 chipset. It is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSD card slot up to 256GB.
The phone is backed by a 6,000mAh battery, which Infinix claims offers 23 hours of video playback and 38 hours of talktime. However, there is no support for fast charging on the device.
The phone runs Android 10 with XOS 6.2 on top. The handset is also equipped with a rear-facing fingerprint scanner and also supports face unlock for security. DTS-HD sound is also available on the device.
Infinix Smart 4 Plus price in India
The Infinix Smart 4+ is priced at Rs. 7,999 in India. It will go on sale via Flipkart starting July 28th at 12pm. The phone will be available in three colours – Midnight Black, Ocean Wave and Violet.
