The Infinix Smart 5A’s launch date has been confirmed. The entry-level phone is all set to debut on August 2nd in India. It will be arriving as a watered-down version of the Infinix Smart 5 that went official in February this year.

It was revealed earlier this month that the Smart 5A will be arriving in three colours such as Ocean Wave, Quetzal Cyan, and Midnight Black. Ahead of the launch, the company has shared a few key details of the smartphone to reveal what to expect from it.

The Infinix Smart 5A features a 5,000mAh battery

The Infinix Smart 5A will be sporting a 6.52-inch display with a teardrop notch. The device is backed by a huge 5,000mAh battery. The back panel of the device features an AI-driven dual-camera system and a fingerprint scanner. Its other specifications are yet to be confirmed.

Infinix Smart 5A price in India and offers

Considering that it will be an entry-level offering, the Smart 5A may arrive with a sub-Rs 7,000 pricing. It will be made available for purchase through Flipkart.

Infinix has teamed up with Jio to release the Smart 5A in India. Customers who purchase the smartphone under the Jio Exclusive device lock program will receive a cashback of Rs 550.

Infinix Smart 5 specifications and features

As for the Infinix Smart 5, offers a 6.82-inch HD+ display, Helio G25 chip, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a 6,000mAh battery, a fingerprint scanner, and XOS based Android 10 OS. For photography, it features an 8-megapixel selfie camera and a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system.
