Infinix Zero 5G 2023 has been certified by the FCC authority. Earlier this month, an upcoming Infinix phone with model number X6815C was spotted at the Bluetooth SIG certification. The listing revealed that the device will be released on the market with the Infinix Zero 5G 2023 moniker. This device looks like an improved version of the first Zero 5G, which was released in India in February 2022 as the company’s first 5G phone.

Infinix Zero 5G 2023 receives FCC certifications
The FCC listing of the Zero 5G 2023 reveals that it measures 169 x 77 x 9mm. The dimensions of the phone are slightly different from the original Zero 5G, which measures 168.7 x 76.5 x 8.8mm. The above schematic that has appeared in FCC documents shows that it has a rectangle-shaped camera module on the back with three cameras and probably a quad-LED flash inside.
The device’s right edge features a volume rocker and a power button. While it is not mentioned in the FCC documents, the power key could be integrated with a fingerprint scanner like the original model.
The Zero 5G is packed with a 4,900mAh (rated value) battery, indicating its typical size could be 5,000mAh. The device will have support for 33W fast charging. It is already known through its Bluetooth SIG listing that it supports Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. According to FCC documents, the 5G NR bands n2, n5, n7, n38, n41, n66, n71, n77, and n78. In addition, it will support Wi-Fi 802.11ax and NFC.
Infinix Zero 5G 2023 specifications (expected)
At present, there is no concrete information on the specifications of the Zero 5G 2023. In all likelihood, it may borrow some specifications from the original Zero 5G. The Zero 5G has a 6.78-inch IPS LTPS LCD FHD+ display that offers a 20.5:9 aspect ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a 16-megapixel front camera and a 48-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (portrait) + 2-megapixel (bokeh) triple camera unit with quad-LED flash.
The Dimensity 900 chipset powers the Zero 5G with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It runs on the Android 11 OS with the XOS 10 UI on top. It has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W rapid charging.
