The Infinix Zero 5G has been launched in India. It has arrived as the company’s first 5G-enabled smartphone. The sub-Rs 20,000 priced handset will be rivalling midrange 5G phones like Redmi Note 11T, Realme 8s, Tecno POVA 5G, Lava AGNI 5G, and so on in the country.
The Zero 5G has a punch-hole LCD panel that offers up to a 120Hz refresh rate. It is driven by a Dimensity 9-series chipset and a big battery that supports fast charging. The Zero 5G will be available for purchase exclusively through Flipkart. The retailer site will carry out its first sale at 12 pm on February 18th, 2022.

The Infinix Zero 5G has a 6.78-inch IPS LTPS LCD screen that delivers a Full HD+ resolution 2,460 x 1,080 pixels, a 20.5:9 aspect ratio, and up to 120Hz refresh rate. The display also supports a 240Hz touch sampling rate and has peak brightness of 500 nits. It has a front-facing camera of 16-megapixel with dual-LED flash.
The back panel of the Zero 5G has a 48-megapixel primary camera. It is accompanied by a 13-megapixel portrait lens and a 2-megapixel bokeh camera. The smartphone offers photography features such as dual-tone quad-LED flash, 30x digital zoom, and 960fps slow-motion video shooting.
The MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset is present under the hood of the Infinix Zero 5G. It is assisted by 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 3GB of virtual RAM, and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. For more storage, it has a dedicated microSD card slot. The phone runs on Android 11 OS, which is overlaid with XOS 10 UI.

The company claims that the smartphone can offer a long standby time of up to 27 days, up to 22 hours of calling, 9.4 hours of gaming, and 8.8 hours of video playback. The Zero 5G offers other features dual nano-SIM slots, support for 13 5G bands, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB Type-C port, a side-facing fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a heat pipe thermal module to prevent overheating.
