Infinix Zero 8i launch in India set for December 3rd, Android TV and soundbar also arriving

Infinix India has been teasing the arrival of its Zero 8 series smartphones for a few weeks now. The brand has now confirmed that it will be launching the Infinix Zero 8i in India on December 3rd. All the specifications of the smartphone are already known since it was announced in Pakistan last month.

Additionally, after establishing itself in smartphone arena in India, Infinix is now all set to make its entry in the consumer electronics segment. The brand has confirmed that it will also be launching its first Android TV and soundbar in December.

The Infinix Zero 8i is equipped with 16MP dual selfie cameras

The Infinix Zero 8i has a massive IPS LCD display measuring 6.85 inches. It supports Full HD+ resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 90Hz refresh rate. The display has a pill-shaped cutout for housing a dual selfie camera setup that includes a 16-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

There is a diamond-patterned camera module on the rear shell of the Zero 8i. It includes a 48-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor, and an AI lens. The handset is fuelled by the Helio G90T chipset and 8GB of RAM. For storage, it offers an internal capacity of 128GB and a microSD card slot. The 4,400mAh battery of the Zero 8i supports 18W fast charging.  It runs XOS 7 based on Android 10, and has a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

In Pakistan, the Infinix Zero 8i is priced at PRK 34,999 (~Rs 16,300) and it comes in Black Diamond, Green Diamond, and Silver Diamond colours. There is no word on the pricing of the Zero 8i for India.

Infinix will unveil its first smart TV for India in December

Infinix has also revealed that it will be launching the Infinix X1 series Android-certified TVs in India in the coming month. The TV will be launched alongside a SNOKOR-branded soundbar. The company is yet to reveal the key features of these products. It is unclear whether these devices will be announced alongside the Zero 8i smartphone or at a separate event.
