It has been a week since InFocus India has been extensively pushing teasers of its upcoming phone — the InFocus Epic 1. The tears and promos confirm that Infocus is all set to launch the all-new InFocus Epic 1 in the Indian market on October 25th. While many key details are still unknown, InFocus has confirmed some specs on its social media profiles.
The InFocus Epic 1 is powered by a deca-Core MediaTek Helio X20 processor. It houses a 16-megapixel primary camera on the back with dual-tone LED flash, phase detection autofocus (PDAF). At the front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The phone also flaunts a fingerprint scanner on the back, which sits right below the camera module. The device will go on sale exclusively on Amazon starting from October 25th priced at Rs. 12,999. InFocus has started taking pre-bookings for the phone. We are expecting all the details to be known as soon as the phone launches next Monday.
To recall, InFocus entered the Indian market back in early 2015. However, since August this year, the company has not launched a single device in India. The last InFocus phone launched in India was Bingo 50+. It sports a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720) IPS display featuring 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM. It’s a Dual-SIM phone that runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box. Under the hood, it packs in a 2600mAh battery.
