Intex Aqua 4G Mini launches in India at Rs 4,199

Intex appears to be pretty aggressive these days with its strategy towards affordable phones. In the past couple of weeks, the OEM came up with numerous handsets like Aqua Trend Lite, Aqua Stong 5.1+, and Aqua Lions 4G etc. The company today launched yet another affordable device dubbed Intex Aqua 4G Mini. Available in black and red colour options, the phone is priced at Rs 4,199.

Specs-wise, the Intex Aqua 4G Mini comes with 4-inch screen, 1.3GHz Spreadtrum SC9832A quad-core chip, and 512MB RAM. Furthermore, it packs a 4GB internal storage that remains expandable up to 32GB. Intex might be aimed at bringing more affordable options in the overly populated market.

Frankly speaking, it makes no sense for today’s smartphones to feature 512MB RAM and 4GB internal memory. Let’s take an example of the recently unveiled Intex Aqua 4.0 4G (review). It was such a poor baby that it failed while setting it up and installing Geekbench due to insufficient memory. In addition, it will eventually lose ground to better options available out there.

Design-wise, it boasts of a plastic body that weighs 119g and measures 11mm in thickness. It houses a 5MP camera with LED flash for photography and VGA camera up front for selfies. The battery is rated at 1450mAh whereas the connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM, USB, and 3.5mm jack.
