Indian smartphone maker Intex has launched two smartphones at the IndiaGadgetzExpo (IGE 2016) currently held in Banglore. The phones launched were the Intex Aqua 5.5 VR and the Intex Craze II.
The Intex Aqua 5.5 VR features a 5.5 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. Intex claims that the device is VR enabled and 3D content can be viewed on the device. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek 6737V/W processor clocked at 1.2GHz and has 1GB of RAM. The phone has 8GB of internal storage that is further expandable up to 32GB via a MicroSD card slot.
The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The Aqua 5.5 VR has a 5-megapixel camera with dual LED flash at the back. On the front, the phone has a 5-megapixel camera along with a selfie flash. This is a dual SIM device and has a Micro and a Nano SIM slot. The phone has a 2800mAh battery. The Aqua 5.5 VR is a Flipkart exclusive product with the sale starting on 19th Oct and is priced at Rs. 5099.
The Intex Aqua Craze II is the second smartphone launched at the event. This phone is slightly smaller when compared to the Aqua 5.5 VR. The phone sports a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The phone is powered by a Spreadtrum SC9832A processor clocked at 1.2GHz and has 1GB of RAM.
The Craze II has a 5-megapixel camera on the back with a LED flash. On the front, the phone has a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. The phone runs on Android Marshmallow, has 8GB of onboard storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a MicroSD card slot. The Craze II is a Dual SIM phone and has a 2500mAh battery. The Intex Aqua Craze II will be available at offline retailers for Rs. 5990.
