Intex has launched yet another affordable smartphone as a part of Aqua series dubbed as Intex Aqua Classic 2. Earlier in June this year, the company launched its predecessor Intex Aqua Classic priced at Rs 4,444.
The Intex Aqua Classic 2 has the same design and finish as its predecessor but with a new dual-LED flash located just beneath the rear camera. Intex is using this dual-LED flash as a tagline to promote the phone as it’s capable of capturing better images in absence of light.
It sports a 5-inch TFT display with a resolution of 854×450 pixels thus offering a pixel density of 196PPI. It is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 32GB with a MicroSD card.
On the camera front, it features a 5MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. The rear camera is capable of recording video up to 720p. The device packs in a 2000mAh battery which company claims to provide up to 6 hours talktime and 200 hours of standby time.
The Intex Aqua Classic 2 is a dual SIM phone and supports 4G network. The phone also features an emergency rescue and smart gesture support. Talking about other connectivity specs, the phone supports WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, a microUSB port and a 3.5mm audio jack.
