Homegrown handset maker Intex has silently added a new smartphone to its portfolio dubbed the Intex Aqua Power M. The company, which is headquartered in New Delhi, has updated its website with this new product. A couple of weeks ago, the company had introduced its budget Intex Cloud Scan FP in India. Priced at Rs 3,999, Intex Cloud Scan FP is probably the cheapest Android phone with a fingerprint scanner every released in the Indian market.
Enough of what Intex has done previously, let’s focus on the newly unveiled Intex Aqua Power M for now. Talking of specs, the Intex Aqua Power M comes with a standard 5-inch IPS LCD screen, boasting 1280 x 720 pixels HD resolution. Intex has been fairly consistent with the integration of 720p HD screen as far as its entry-level budget Android phones are concerned.
Moving on, the phone is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6735 processor, coupled with 1GB RAM and Mali-T720 GPU for graphics. The limited 8GB internal storage is expandable up to 32GB with the help of microSD card.
It houses a 5-megapixel rear camera mated with a 2-megapixel selfie camera. It is worth noting that both the cameras come with dual-tone LED flash. The Intex Aqua Power M is a Dual-SIM device which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It also packs in a massive 4350mAh battery which Intex claims to offer up to 25 hours of talk time.
The connectivity options include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and FM Radio. The Intex Aqua Power M comes in Champagne colour option, priced at Rs 4,800 in the Indian market.
