Indian smartphone company Intex has launched yet another budget smartphone dubbed Intex Aqua S2. With this new device, the company has further expanded its Aqua lineup in India. The phone also comes with a fingerprint scanner on the back, which sits right below the camera module. That said, the Intex Aqua S2 has also become one of the cheapest phones with a fingerprint scanner in the Indian market. The Intex Aqua S2 features 5-inch IPS display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution and 196 PPI pixel density.
The phone is powered by 32-Bit Quad-Core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor clocked at 1.2GHz with Mali-400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The device houses a 5-megapixel primary camera with f/2.8 aperture and LED flash for photography. It also comes with a 5-megapixel front shooter with f/2.2 aperture for all the selfie lovers out there. It’s a Dual-SIM phone with one Micro and one Nano SIM slot and packs in a 2450mAh non-removable battery.
The Intex Aqua S2 comes with a very limited 8GB of storage. However, it shouldn’t be much of a problem since the storage capacity is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Connectivity wise, it comes with all standard set of options such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio, and microUSB 2.0. Available in Champagne, White, and Grey color options, the Intex Aqua S2 comes at a price of Rs. 4,990.
