Indian smartphone makers Intex has launched yet another early segment smartphone – Intex Aqua Trend Lite. With this phone, the company has added one more device to its Aqua family. As most of the Intex smartphone are, this one is also available through the offline channel and comes with a price tag of Rs 5690.
The company claims the device to feature a superior sound quality with 1.5W speaker and trying to market the device with this feature. The device also comes with a number of value-added services (read bloatware) including MiFon, Fashin, Vistoso and many other apps. Talking about the specs of the device, the Intex Aqua Trend Lite is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.25GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The storage is further expandable up to 128GB with a MicroSD card. It sports a 5-inch FWGA display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The phone features a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and packs in a 2,600mAh battery. The device also comes with 4G VoLTE connectivity and includes all other standard connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a Micro-USB port.
On seeing the specs and price of the device, it seems a bit overpriced. Micromax Canvas Juice 4G also comes with the same price tag and offers much better features. It gets a display with better resolution, better camera specs, more RAM, and a bigger battery.
