iPad 2022 leaked renders reveal design
On the front, the iPad 2022 looks similar to the iPad 2021. However, the upcoming offering is seen with a boxy form factor. There is a front camera on the top and a circular Touch ID on the bottom. The device is surrounded by bezels on all four sides. The back panel has a pill-shaped camera module housing a single sensor. There is also an LED flash, unlike the 9th generation iPad.
There are two speaker grilles at the bottom and top of the iPad 2022 suggesting that the tablet may come with a quad-speaker setup. Like other iPad, there is a power button at the top and volume rocker buttons on the side. The bottom has a charging port, but it’s unclear whether it is a Lightning or USB-C port as the renders have a Red mark.
The iPad 2022 is expected to feature a larger 10.5 or 10.9-inch display compared to its predecessor. Dimension-wise, it is said to measure 248.62 x 179.50 x 6.98mm. The upcoming tablet is tipped to be powered by Apple’s A14 processor under the hood. Apple will reportedly switch from Lightning to USB-C port on the upcoming iPad 2022.
