iPad Air (5th gen) price in India quietly hiked by Apple: check revised prices

Apple iPad Air (5th gen) has become expensive in India. Following the launch of the iPad (10th gen) and iPad Pro 2022 last night, the Cupertino-based tech giant has hiked the price of the M1-powered Air that debuted earlier this year. 

The revised prices of the iPad Air (5th gen) are already reflected on Apple’s official website. However, the tablet is up for grabs at discounted prices from other retailers like Amazon, Croma, Reliance Digital, and Vijay Sales. This could be due to the current festive season.

iPad Air 5 is powered by the Apple M1 chip

The iPad Air (5th gen) was launched with 64GB and 256GB storage options as well as WiFi-only and WiFi + Cellular variants. 

The iPad Air (5th gen) was priced at Rs 54,900 and Rs 68,900 for the 64GB and 256GB WiFi-only versions respectively. Both have received a price hike of Rs 5,000 and Rs 6,000 respectively making them available for Rs 59,900 and Rs 74,900. 

The WiFi + Cellular model of the 64GB and 256GB storage configurations were available at Rs 68,900 and Rs 82,900. These are now available at Rs 74,900 and Rs 89,900 respectively after becoming expensive by Rs 6,000 and Rs 7,000 respectively. 

As for the core specifications, the iPad Air (5th gen) comes with a 10.9-inch Retina LCD display. It has 12MP front and rear cameras. The tablet is powered by an M1 processor and runs on iPad OS 15.
