Looks like iPhone 14 Mini is set to launch this year after all. Reliable industry tipster Evan Blass has told publication 91Mobiles that Apple will be unveiling a total of seven new devices at its annual September event.
Several leaks and rumours in the past suggested that Apple will axe the Mini variant from its next-generation iPhone 14 lineup. However, the latest development contradicts the past reports.

Apple iPhone 14 Mini expected to launch next month alongside more devices
91Mobiles reports that Apple’s top-class partner in the Asia-Pacific region has started making promotional marketing material for the upcoming iPhones and iPads. Blass claimed that it is one of the largest distributors in the market that it serves. It’s worth noting that Apple does not distribute any promotional marketing content to its partners prior to any major launches.
The iPhone 14 lineup is tipped to consist of iPhone 14 Mini, iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. On the other hand, the Cupertino-based giant is expected to announce the 10th generation iPad 10.9, the 6th generation iPad Pro 12.9, and the 4th generation iPad Pro 11.
Blass said that Apple will start stocking the aforementioned devices next month. He hasn’t mentioned anything about the iPhone 14 Max that was previously reported to replace the Mini variant this year. The iPhone 14 Max is basically a Pro Max version with the same screen size but with much lesser features.
The latest development about the iPhone 14 Mini comes as a surprise in the midst of various reports that Apple would drop the variant. If Blass is correct, then the upcoming offering will be the third-generation iPhone Mini model and the successor to the iPhone 13 Mini. The reason for Apple ditching the Mini variant was said to be the poor sales performance of the iPhone 12 Mini and 13 Mini.
The upcoming devices are widely anticipated to be unveiled by Apple on September 7th. As per reports, the Apple Watch Series 8 is also expected to tag along with other products.
