- All iPhone 15 models are expected to get the Dynamic Island feature
- Apple is on course to replace the Pro Max model in favour of the Ultra this year
- The report says that Apple will retain the ceramic shield protection for the iPhone 15 lineup
The Apple iPhone 15 is expected to break cover later this year, and it’s customary to encounter an exhaustive barrage of leaks months ahead of its arrival. A new revelation over the weekend is giving us more information on the display quality and design of the upcoming iPhone 15 series.
As per information accessed by tipster ShrimpApplePro through an unnamed source, the iPhone 15 series will stick to the same display sizes as their predecessors. Additionally, the iPhone 15 Pro will reportedly have slimmer bezels paired with curved edges. The tipster reiterates, however, that only the edges are curved, while the display will remain flat.
We’re also learning that the entry-level iPhone 15 models will feature curved edges, plus the inclusion of Dynamic Island, something that we’ve heard about in the past as well. As for the quality of the materials used, ShrimpApplePro says the ceramic shield protection will be retained, while Dynamic Island will resemble what we currently see on the iPhone 14 Pro models currently.
Lastly, the source reportedly told the tipster that the iPhone 15 Ultra (the new name for the Pro Max model “is very beautiful,” though we’ll reserve judgment on this until we see the new flagship for ourselves.
iPhone 15 rumoured price
A recent iPhone 15 leak dropped hints on the expected pricing of the new flagship lineup, suggesting no price changes for the base models. Instead, Apple will reportedly bump the prices of the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Ultra.
We’re still in the early days of the iPhone 15 leak cycle, though more information is expected to follow in the coming months. Apple has always been pretty secretive about its devices, though it’s been a bit of a challenge keeping things under the wraps in the past few years.
