According to the case manufacturer, these models may hit the market as iPhone 9 and iPhone 9 Plus.
iPhone 9 Case Renders
Recent leaks have revealed that the iPhone 9 will be the first LCD smartphone from Apple to feature a notched LCD screen. The case renders also show the presence of a notched screen on the iPhone 9. The cutout for the rear camera on the transparent case suggests that the smartphone will be arriving with a single rear snapper. This indicates that the photography prowess of the iPhone 9 will be lower than other OLED iPhones arriving year as it may not feature advanced photography modes like loseless zoom and portrait shots.
Rumors have it that the iPhone 9 will be featuring a 6-inch LCD panel. Also, it is equipped with feature LG G7 ThinQ-like MLCD+ technology that will allow its screen to produce up to 1,000 nits of brightness by consuming low power. The transparent case also reveals that the handset won’t be featuring Touch ID sensor which means it will be solely relying on the Face ID sensor for unlocking and payment authentication.
The inclusion of LCD panel and a single camera on the iPhone 9 suggests that it will be arriving as an entry-level iPhone this year. Rumors are rife that the iPhone 9 could be priced between $649 and $749.
iPhone 9 Plus Case Renders
The iPhone 9 Plus which is also being referred to as iPhone X Plus is pegged to house a big display of 6.5 inches. The case renders reveal that the iPhone 9 Plus could be arriving as a large-sized version of the Apple iPhone X from last year.
The presence of the notch indicates that it will also carry support for 3D facial recognition. It also lacks the Touch ID sensor. The backside of the iPhone 9 Plus features dual rear cameras. Since it is rumored to be packed with premium specs, it may be priced higher than $999.
The case renders of the iPhone 9 and iPhone 9 Plus reveals that their right edge will be featuring a power key while the left edge will be populated with ring/silent switch and volume rocker. The bottom edge of these iPhones has a pair of speakers with a Lightning connector in between.
The case renders of the successor model of the iPhone X are yet to surface. However, rumors are rife that it will be featuring a 5.8-inch OLED like the predecessor model and it is also expected to carry the same $999 pricing as the iPhone X. There is no information available on the specifications of 2018 iPhones. However, it can be assumed that the forthcoming iPhones will be powered by Apple A12 SoC.
The Chinese case maker has started producing case molds for the protective cases and covers for the forthcoming iPhones. This indicates that the case maker will be ready with the cases and covers by the coming month as the 2018 iPhones are expected to go official in September.
